We Are Hiring!
It’s springtime in California, and we are excited for the growth that is happening here at Utt Construction! We are grateful to be in a thriving industry that has continued to expand this year, and excited that our company is growing with it. Despite many challenges that have come our way (read our Covid-19 Challenges blog here), Utt Construction has continued to work on incredible projects.
As our company expands and acquires more projects, we are pleased to announce that we are hiring! We are seeking a couple of Job Site Superintendents and some more Journeymen Carpenters to join our team.

Therefore, strong interpersonal skills are required to clearly and respectfully communicate with management, clients, and coworkers alike.
Superintendents:

Must be able to multitask and still wear bags and tools to get work done. As the head carpenter on projects, the Superintendent should continuously lead by example.
Journeymen Carpenters:
Description and Responsibilities
A Journeyman Carpenter's primary role is to accurately interpret construction drawings and specifications, executing the work accordingly (ex: door, frame & hardware schedule, millwork details, elevations, details, etc.). Each Journeyman Carpenter will work alongside the team of Apprentice or Mid-level Carpenters to efficiently perform the work necessary while meeting the highest standards of quality and following appropriate and safe procedures.
Requirements
4-10 years experience working as a carpenter, ideally on high-end residential projects, with well-rounded rough and finish skills.
Eagerness and willingness to learn
