Curious How We Got Started? Meet Our Founder

My construction career started in cabinetry. When the opportunity to become a General Contractor came along, I cared too much to let anyone else do the cabinetry. So from day one, Utt Construction custom homes and fine cabinetry have been synonymous.

I knew owning my own company would mean independence and control over quality.

I had no idea this almost 40 year-long journey would introduce me to the most wild and larger than life projects, along with some of the most rewarding relationships of my life with clients, architects, and designers.

In 2015, I retired, and the team that I worked alongside for more than 70 years combined, took the reins. It gives me an overwhelming sense of pride, that everything we worked for continues on — the quality of the work, the diligence of our crews, and the care that goes into each relationship. There is never an idea that Utt Construction won't consider, or a problem they aren't willing to overcome.
